Undergraduate degrees

Our courses have an outstanding track record of producing graduates who go on to fulfilling and innovative careers.

You’ll explore your creativity in a design studio environment that reflects professional practice.

We also offer courses with an integrated foundation year so you can develop the confidence and skills needed to study at degree level.

Postgraduate degrees in architecture

To register as an architect you need to complete three stages of your studies: RIBA parts 1, 2 and 3.

On successful completion of your Architecture BA(Hons) degree you are awarded RIBA Part 1. This enables you to progress to the RIBA Part 2 MArch at postgraduate level which you can also study with us at 91快活林 to continue on your path to becoming a qualified architect.

Postgraduate degrees in design

Our Interior Design MA is designed to promote interdisciplinary research and practice; we are looking to develop creative collaborations between fine artists, designers, architects and thinkers.

On our established Sustainable Design MA, designers and creatives use practice-based design research to examine the challenges of sustainable development and present original ideas for more sustainable futures.

Professional accreditation

Our Architecture BA(Hons), Architecture RIBA Part 2 MArch and Management, Practice and Law (RIBA Part 3) are accredited by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Our Product Design BSc(Hons) is accredited by the (IED).

Supporting your creativity

Your ideas can be explored, created and manufactured using specialist facilities and modelling workshops. Skilled technicians are a vital part of the studio community, on hand to support your making and ideas. They are practising artists, designers and PhD students, so they know exactly where you are coming from.

Gain real-world experience working on live briefs and projects and benefit from the expertise shared by staff and industry practitioners.

Our links with RIBA South East include opportunities for mentoring and mock interviews with practising architects for our architecture students.

Design studio collaboration

You’ll learn in a design studio environment which reflects professional practice. Second- and third-year students share studio space and this helps foster a dynamic, creative work environment. You’ll work on design projects in the studio and have opportunities to explore ideas and share learning and experiences with your peers.
